Warm dim is a LED technology which mimics the warmth of dimmed incandescent sources. Humans are drawn to this warm amber shift as it is the same feeling experienced by sitting around a campfire, enjoying a candlelit dinner or beautiful sunset. The reason we are drawn to these traditional lighting sources is they are black body radiators, like the sun.

When dimming a standard non-warm dim fixture, the color temperature remains the same, often perceived as too cool at lower intensity. This unnatural experience can easily contribute to an unsuccessful installation, especially in hospitality and residential projects.
